Player of the Week

 

Tihani Ehia (So., OH), New England Col.

Sophomore Tihni Ehia (Kaneohe, Hawaii) led the Pilgrims to a 2-0 week, averaging 2.75 kills and 6.63 digs on the week, In a five-set thriller at Colby-Sawyer, Ehia tied a program record for 30 digs in a single match.  She also added 13 kills for the double-double. She added another 23 digs in a conference win over Mitchell, totaling 53 for the week. She also chipped in six service aces, two assists and one block.

 

Rookie of the Week

 

Sadie Homer (Fr., S),  Dean College

Freshman Sadie Homer (North Easton, Mass.) was the key cog in the Bulldogs 4-0 week. In a wild, 3-2 win over Massachusetts Maritime, Homer finished with 26 assists and 25 digs as Dean rallied past the Buccaneers. She then followed that up with a career-best 30 assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 road win over Bay Path. For the week, she averaged 5.27 assists per set along with 2.8 digs per outing and even provided five kills during the week.
