NECC Women's Volleyball Athletes of the Week- October 15

Player of the Week

 

Tihani Ehia (So., OH), New England College

Sophomore Tihani Ehia (Kaneohe, Hawaii) averaged 3.29 kills per set and 2.57 digs per set in a 1-1 week for the Pilgrims. She posted a double-double of 10 kills and 12 digs in a loss to St. Joseph’s of Maine. She totaled 23 kills and 18 digs, bringing her to the 200 kills and 200 digs benchmark, the only player in NEC history to do so.

 

Rookie of the Week

 

Olivia DeLoach (Fr., DS), Mitchell College

Freshman Olivia DeLoach (Spring Hill, Fla.) averaged a team-high 2.63 kills and 4.75 digs per set in a pair of non-conference wins last week. She finished with season highs of 15 kills and 27 digs in a five-set victory over Salem State and also added three aces. Earlier in the week she recorded six kills and 11 digs as Mitchell defeated Albertus Magnus for the second time this season.
