Player of the Week


Morgan Gould (Sr., RS/S), Becker College

Senior Morgan Gould (North Attleboro, Mass.) hit .327 with 31.5 points over nine sets as the Becker College women’s volleyball team opened their season with two victories in their home tri-match against Mount Holyoke and Bridgewater State. In the opener, she led the Hawks with four service aces to go along with seven kills, 14 digs and two block assists. The senior held serve in the last five points in the first set, then late in the fifth helped Becker reel off six straight points off her serve to put the match away. She shined in the second match, hitting .519 with a team-high 15 kills and four service aces. She posted 23 digs on the day.  


Rookie of the Week


Teddie Flynn (Fr., OH), Becker College  

Freshman Teddie Flynn (Amesbury, Mass.) had a sensational debut against Mount Holyoke, hitting .522 with 14 kills and eight digs. For the day, the rookie led the Hawks with 3.00 kills per set and a .377 hitting percentage, leading Becker to a 2-0 record.
