Becker senior Megan Nessen was chosen as the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches. Nessen posted a 14-2 record in conference competition at #1 singles and doubles this season.

The Becker College women’s tennis team captured their third consecutive New England Collegiate Conference championship with a 7-2 win over Bay Path College.

Bay Path Advances to NECC Women’s Tennis Finals
Second seed Bay Path College defeated third seed Lesley University today in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's tennis semi-final action after a rain-out match rescheduled from Wednesday. The Wildcats won 5-1 over the Lynx stopping play after the fifth point was won. Bay Path will travel to the top seed Becker tomorrow to vie for the title at a 1:00 p.m. start time.

NECC Women's Tennis Semifinals Postponed
Weather has postponed the semifinal round of the NECC Women's Tennis Tournament. Third seed Lesley will now travel to second seed Bay Path on Friday, October 21st at 2:30 at Blinn Court. The match between top seeded Becker College and fourth seed Regis has not yet been rescheduled.

Bay Path College was the coaches choice to finish atop the NECC women's tennis standings following a vote of the conference coaches. The Wildcats earned 33 points and four first place votes.
