Mosdale, Madore, and Evans Highlight the NECC All Conference Team

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Becker College forward Alison Mosdale selected as the New England Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Year. Mosdale finished with a staggering 51 points on the season, on 20 goals and 11 assists, including two game winning goals.

Southern Vermont Rookie Molly Madore earned NECC Rookie of the Year honors after finishing the season second in the conference in points (36) and third in goals (15). Madore led the Mountaineers to their best finish in NECC history as they finished with a 6-2-1 conference record. Teammates Lauren Nesshoever and Karina Meza were also named to the NECC first team.

Daniel Webster College's Stephanie Evans was selected as NECC Goalkeeper of the Year after totaling a staggering 279 saves and a .856 save percentage on the season. The rookie goalie made a great impact in her first season with the Eagles keeping them in games.

Lesley University head coach, Paul Vasconcelos, was selected as the Coach of the Year in All-Conference balloting by the NECC Women's Soccer Coaches. Vasconcelos led the Lynx to their fourth straight conference title and an overall record of 16-5.

LU placed five players on the all-conference teams, including three first team honorees. Forward Julie Essick, midfielder Jordan Mitchell, and defender Hayley Wirth were all selected to be members of the first team.

Rounding out the first team selections were three players from Elms College, including forward Brie Voight, midfielder Michelle Rossignol, and defender Kathleen Tuechler.
