Player of the Week

Babba Jaden (So., F), Elms College

Sophomore Babba Jaden (Clarkston, Ga.) helped pace the Blazers to a pair of victories this week with a trio of goals. Jaden added an insurance goal in a 3-0 win over Southern Vermont College, and then netted two goals, including the game-winner, as the Blazers clipped Becker, 3-0, on the road.   

Rookie of the Week

Nick Langat, (Fr., M), Southern Vermont College

Freshman midfielder Nick Langat (Silver Spring, Md.) was instrumental in Southern Vermont’s 3-1 victory over Newbury College. He scored the first two goals of the match, including what proved to be his first collegiate game-winner. With the win, Southern Vermont now has its most NECC wins since 2011.
