Player of the Week


Steffen Brunson (Sr., G), Mitchell College  

Senior Steffen Brunson (West Haven, Conn.) averaged a team-high 19 points per contest over a three-game stretch for the Mariners, who went 2-1 and picked up a league win in the process. He dropped in a career-high 26 points and added six rebounds in a road victory at Newbury, sinking a pair of free throws with seven seconds to go to put Mitchell on top for good. In a win over Johnson & Wales (FL) he netted 11 points and tacked on six rebounds and three assists, and against Keiser he finished with 20 points, nine assists and six rebounds.  


Rookie of the Week


Levi Grady-White (Fr., G), Eastern Nazarene College

Freshman Levi Grady-White (Springfield, Mass.) averaged 9.7 points, while adding 7.0 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game, over three contests for the Lions. Eastern Nazarene went 2-1 over that stretch, including a league win over Becker, in which Grady-White posted a double-double, scoring 10 points and pulling down 11 boards. The rookie shot 60.0 from the field over the three games.
