NECC 2011-12 Men's Basketball All-Conference Teams Announced
Becker senior forward Terrance Favors was selected the 2011-12 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Men's Basketball Player of the Year in a vote of the league's coaches. Favors averaged 17.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game leading the Hawks to an undefeated NECC regular season and their first NECC title.

The Pride improves to 10-15 overall and 7-9 in the NECC and awaits word to hear who their first round opponent will be in the NECC playoffs starting on Tuesday night. Senior captain Kandley Val (Boston, Mass.) posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds on Senior Day.

Sophomore guard Steve Rosemond (Everett, Mass.) sent seniors Jason Marshall (Fairburn, Ga.) and Matt Tise (Hanover, Mass.), who were playing in their final regular season home game of their careers, out on a high-note, netting a game-high 19 points.
