Becker's Grenier Earns Back to Back Player of the Year Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Becker's Amy Grenier earns back to back 2016 Player of the Year honors after an impressive junior season. Grenier finished the season with 28 points on 12 goals and four assists including two game winning goals.

NECC Champion Regis Pride's Maresa Malcolm earned Goalkeeper of the Year honors after and impressive .886 save percentage and allowing just .52 goals per game.

Earning Rookie of the Year honors is Wheelock's Julia D'Onofrio who finished with six goals and one assist, while working hard on the defensive side of the field.

Joining Malcolm and the Pride with All Conference honors was senior Jenna Casello and sophomore Aineen Callahan. Casello helped the Pride defense that allowed just five goals in league play, while Callahan finished with 14 points (7g).

Along with D'Onofrio representing the Wildcats on the first team were seniors Emma Panto and Katie Frade. Panto finished fourth in NECC play with 22 points on the season, while Frade finished her collegiate career first in both goals (15) and points (34).

Casey LaMotte and Angela Younger both garnered NECC First Team honors for Bay Path University. Also, being honored for the Wildcats was first year head coach Nicole Simeone, who was voted the NECC Coach of the year by her peers.

The final two spots on the All Conference team went to Elms College sophomore Madison Messier and Daniel Wesbter College sophomore Megan Lewis Taylor. Messier finished the season third in the NECC in points (11g,4a), while Lewis-Taylor helped the Eagles midfield throughout the season.
