NECC Announces Partnership with HyperX Gaming

NECC Championship-Winning Players to Receive Choice of HyperX Gaming Peripheral Among Select Products

MANSFIELD, Mass. - The NECC is proud to announce it has agreed to a partnership with HyperX Gaming. HyperX is one of the world’s leading providers of gaming equipment. The partnership includes title sponsorship rights for each of the conference’s nine upcoming fall championship events. 

Members of each NECC Championship-winning team will have their choice of HyperX's world-class line of gaming peripherals: gaming headsets, gaming keyboards, and gaming mouse and mouse pads.

In addition to title sponsorship of the conference’s nine championship events, HyperX assets will be featured on each of the NECC’s gaming streams throughout the 2020 fall semester. The NECC is currently featuring professionally-casted streams five nights per week (Monday through Friday), and will have each of the conference’s teams and programs on its stream at least once during the semester.  

The NECC’s ‘Season Zero’ began earlier this semester and features players from more than 35 colleges and universities nationwide competing in five titles this semester.

The NECC announced its intention to sponsor esports in the fall of 2019. Recognizing the growing marketplace, the conference is committed to sponsoring esports in a manner that is similar to any of its other traditional sports. The NECC began play in the fall of 2020 and is currently sponsoring both regular season competition and championships in a wide variety of titles.
