Player of the Week
Steven Pesce, Eastern Nazarene
Pesce had a monster week for the Lions, helping boast a 7-0 record. The junior batted .556 while earning a .600 on base percentage and slugging for .778. Pesce earned at least one hit in every contest on the week while having five multi-hit performances. On the week he scored seven runs, hit another seven home and safely stealing two bases. The junior hit a total of three doubles while also hitting one homerun on the week.
Pitcher of the Week
Shayne Audet, New England College
Audet had an impressive appearance on the mount last week pitching a complete game for a win over conference opponent Dean. The sophomore allowed only one hit in the 11-0 victory while boasting a 0.00 ERA and striking out an impressive 18. Throughout the seven innings Audet retired the side three times while only walking three.
Rookie of the Week
Anderson Jimenez, New England College
Jimenez had a great week for the Pilgrims helping lead to a 3-2 record. The rookie batted for .500 while slugging at .813 with a .550 on base percentage. Jimenez had three multi-hit games while earning at least one hit in all appearances. The first year scored seven runs, brought home another 6, stole three bases while earning two doubles and a homerun.
