    Athletics: Postponements Announced For Women's Lacrosse, Softball, Baseball Wednesday's softball matchup at Pine Manor and women's lacrosse meeting with Wheelock have been postponed due to field conditions. Softball will now visit Pine Manor on Monday, April 17th, while women's lacrosse will make up the game at a time and date to be determined. Softball's Sunday (April 1) home opener will now be played at Mitchell with DWC remaining as the home team. Moreover, Saturday's home baseball openers with Lesley have also been postponed to a date and time to be announced. Sunday's baseball meeting at Lesley will be played.

    Softball: Eagles Earn NECC Opening Split With Wheelock The trio of Megan Blongy (Rutland, Vt.), Danica Nadeau (Monmouth, Maine), and Skylar Evans (Cranston, R.I.) registered two RBI each and Amber Roberts (Berlin, N.H.) picked up her first win of the season in the pitcher?s circle as host Daniel Webster topped Wheelock, 13-5 in the opener of a NECC doubleheader split Sunday at Raider Field. Wheelock rebounded to capture game two, 14-2. Both games went five innings.

    Men's Lacrosse: Eagles Even Up Record, Top Johnson State 10-1 Tre Mason (Kelowna, B.C.) registered three goals and an assist and Gavin Abbot (Binghamton, N.Y.) added three assists and one score as host Daniel Webster topped Johnson State, 10-1 in a regional men?s lacrosse matchup Sunday at Raider Field.

    Women's Lacrosse: Eagles Drop Regional Matchup To Albertus Magnus The Daniel Webster women?s lacrosse squad dropped a 17-2 decision to Albertus Magnus Thursday at Raider Field. Maddie Roulier (Pittsfield, Mass.) scored both Eagle goals.

    Softball: Eagles Drop Pair To Mass. Maritime In Season Openers Daniel Webster dropped a pair of non-conference contests against Mass. Maritime on Tuesday to open their 2017 campaign. Newcomer Danica Nadeau picked up a pair of hits to lead the offense.

    Women's Lacrosse: Eagles Fall To Blue Jays To Open Season, 14-7 Host Daniel Webster saw St. Joseph of Connecticut post 11 first-half goals but improved in the second half, outscoring the Blue Jays 4-3 in dropping a 14-7 final in the season opener for both squads Tuesday in a contest played at Raider Field at Rivier University. Madeline Roulier (Pittsfield, Mass.) paced DWC (0-1) with five goals, three of which came in the first half. Rebecca Hoffman (Andover, Mass.) netted the remaining two.
