    Statement on Status Of Men's Basketball Program Last night, a fight broke out during the last basketball game at Daniel Webster College. Police were immediately called to the scene to diffuse the situation and the remainder of the game was forfeited. Two students and one fan were arrested. Daniel Webster College?s primary concern is the safety of our students, staff, and guests. The behavior at last night?s game does not reflect the values and standards of sportsmanship we expect from student-athletes. The incident is still under investigation by the Nashua Police Department and we are cooperating with authorities as they complete their investigation. Immediate disciplinary action was taken by the College to protect the campus community. This was the last basketball game at Daniel Webster College and there are no future contests scheduled.

    Men's Basketball: Eagles Hold Off Late Charge From Becker To Win, 87-83 Jared Harrington (Upper Marlboro, Md.) led five players in double figures with a game-high 22 points as host Daniel Webster held off Becker, 87-83 in a NECC meeting Thursday night. Antwaun Boyd (Stamford, Conn.) added 20 points with seven assists for DWC, Angelo Adon (Silver Spring, Md.) posted 17 points off the bench, Ray Farmer (Nashua) netted 14 points and eight rebounds, and Marquise Caudill (Windsor, Conn.) chipped in with 10 points and eight caroms.

    Women's Basketball: Eagles Fall In All-Time Home Finale To Becker, 63-55 Escarlin Reynoso (Lawrence, Mass.) led host Daniel Webster with a game-high 23 points but Becker used a fourth quarter surge to top the Eagles and close out the final women?s basketball game at Mario Vagge Gymnasium with a 63-55 victory in a NECC meeting Thursday night.

    Women's Basketball: Eagles Fall At Wheelock, Final Home Game Slated For Thursday The Wheelock College women?s basketball team used a big second quarter to secure a 72-63 victory over visiting Daniel Webster College in New England Collegiate Conference play. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 12-11 and 10-6 in the NECC while the Eagles fall to 8-16 and 6-11 in the conference.

    Men's Basketball: Eagles Fall At Newbury Daniel Webster dropped a touch 87-83 decision at Newbury Saturday in NECC play. Eagles senior Ray Farmer (Nashua, N.H.) dominated the paint, scoring 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting and pulling in 12 rebounds.

    Women's Basketball: Eagles Fall At Newbury In OT, 83-78 Newbury topped Daniel Webster in overtime Saturday in NECC play. Eagles senior Briana Diggs (Washington, D.C.) scored a team-high 21 points to go with 13 rebounds.
