Statement on Status Of Men's Basketball ProgramLast night, a fight broke out during the last basketball game at Daniel Webster College. Police were immediately called to the scene to diffuse the situation and the remainder of the game was forfeited. Two students and one fan were arrested.
Daniel Webster College?s primary concern is the safety of our students, staff, and guests. The behavior at last night?s game does not reflect the values and standards of sportsmanship we expect from student-athletes. The incident is still under investigation by the Nashua Police Department and we are cooperating with authorities as they complete their investigation. Immediate disciplinary action was taken by the College to protect the campus community. This was the last basketball game at Daniel Webster College and there are no future contests scheduled.
